  • Greetings, oh ye faithful readers.
Here we are. Two weeks into school. The first semester ended today, and a new semester begins on monday.
Wednesday, we had some excitement. While the guys were off at small
groups, Sarah and Matt rushed to the hospital, but it was false labor.
Currently, as in, right now, Matt and Sarah and her mom are at the hospital, for a night or two.
Had some home basketball games today after school. The visiting team,
Wurzburg, had no JV team, so the JV girls played an assorted team of
female staff and students. They kept their winning streak. The JV guys
played a team of students, mainly composed of those that had been cut,
with a few others thrown in, like John Olson and Sang Jin Yoon. It was
an amazing game, but the JV guys won out.
Varsity girls played exceptionally well, and lost by three points after a long game.
Varsity guys played amazingly, facing a team composed of fast guys who
threw at odd angles. It came down to the last thirty seconds, but, to
our great sadness, they were unable to overcome the visiting team.
Still no snow. Yesterday, there was a high winds alert, and the wind
decided to pick up right after the guys got back on the late bus,
tearing down the valley. Some thought that the bus would be unable to
make it if the wind continued through the morning, but, alas, their
wishes were not granted. There is a movie night coming up next week, on
Friday, with an assortment of videos playing in various locations at
school. That should be fun for the guys.
    See you later people!
